There are those I also consider to be my family. They are my neighbors. One of the things that I love about living here is how much it reminds me of my small town in Iowa where I grew up. This is a family. I can truly say that when my late wife passed, those who we knew all over this county reached out and surrounded my family with love and support. I have lived all over this world, from Guam to Virginia, and can consider myself to be "from" a lot of places. However, I am from here now. Where I live now, I have owned in that same development for over 20 years. Once I saw this part of God's country, I knew this is where I belonged. The people, the mountains and the river all serve to remind me on a daily basis how lucky I am to have found this place to live my life.
It is that desire to help and give back to our community that drives me to serve once again. I will be a Sheriff that you can approach. A Sheriff that you can trust and a Sheriff that will always have your best interests in mind in everything I do.
